Longer life expectancy aqua signal LEDs
The temperature is the most important factor that decides the life expectancy of an LED. Where conventional LED’s tend to heat up uncontrollably which causes them to age, aqua signal uses thermomanagement. The LED-body is thermally connected to an aluminium casing which keeps it cool. Watertight
Electronics and the LED are moulded into a casing keeping them safe from water and dust. From the LED itself only the lense itself is visible.
UV- und Saltwater resistant
The materials used are UV- and saltwater resistant. The casing cannot be eroded by either and cause a malfunction in the electronics or diode.
Optimised lens optics
The lenses used by aqua signal are high above all requirements for brightness, exactness and lighting angles. They have a higher brightness, reaching further than 2nm. Furthermore aqua signal achives this results with only one LED.
Low power consumption.
Power consumption is very low at 1.5 watts.
Easy installation.
The installation is very easy thanks to Aqua Signals „quicfits“ it is also compatible with earlier navigation lights (series 40).
