YKK use plastics with high strength and good UV resistance for all zippers and their components.
Polyester carrier tape. Sliders and endcaps are made of nickle plated zinc alloy without locking mechanism. The spiral is made of Polyamide and is very pliable and flexible. We recommend POM zippers in salt water environment to prevent corrosion.
