Note on installing window film
With a highly transparent PVC flexible film featuring UV protection, there are two types of shrinkage. One is cold shrinkage (1–2.5 per cent) and the other is heat shrinkage (1–2 per cent). Cold shrinkage can be reduced by storing the film for at least 24 hours at room temperature (approx. +22 °C) or higher after unrolling. To reduce heat shrinkage, the film can be heat-treated for around 10 minutes at approx. +80 °C. Ideal storage conditions are dry rooms at +18 °C to +22 °C, away from direct sunlight.
